Formule

The logarithm answers the question: "To what exponent must the base be raised, to produce the given number?"

  • log₁₀(x) is the common logarithm (Base 10).
  • ln(x) is the natural logarithm (Base e ≈ 2.718).
  • log₂(x) is the binary logarithm (Base 2).

Note: The base must be greater than 0 and not equal to 1. The number (x) must be greater than 0.
