Cómo Usar
  1. Select your biological sex and enter your age.
  2. Enter your serum creatinine level from a recent blood test.
  3. Ensure the correct unit is selected (mg/dL is standard in the US, µmol/L is used internationally).
  4. The calculator determines your eGFR and maps it to the standard Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stages.

eGFR = 142 × min(Scr/κ, 1)α × max(Scr/κ, 1)-1.200 × 0.9938Age × (1.012 if Female)

κ = 0.7 (Female) or 0.9 (Male)
α = -0.241 (Female) or -0.302 (Male)

The Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) is the best test to measure your level of kidney function and determine your stage of kidney disease. Your doctor can calculate it from the results of your blood creatinine test, your age, and your gender.
